Alaska Performance Scholarship

The Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) provides an opportunity for Alaska high school students to earn a scholarship to help cover the cost of an Alaska postsecondary education.  Alaska high school students who take a more rigorous curriculum, get good grades, and score well on college placement or work ready exams, can earn an APS to qualified Alaska colleges, universities, or vocational/technical programs.

UA Scholars Program

The UA Scholars Award is an $11,000 scholarship which can cover eligible expenses such as undergraduate tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, and other education costs incurred for attendance at the University of Alaska.

The handbook was designed to help students prepare for college and other training opportunities by offering valuable information, tips and advice to help make understanding the process smoother.  The handbook can also be used by community members and parents as a planning guidebook for assisting students who are interested in higher education and training opportunities.
